BABU was launched in the summer of 2004. Some twenty-odd years previously a little girl was born. Her father, Chris Ellis (chrysalis) gave her the nickname Babu... and a fascination for butterflies. Butterflies from caterpillars? Babu was impressed! As she was to learn that oaks grow from acorns, and chicks from eggs. Life was wonderful, and Babu set about celebrating it.
